I loved this library until recently 1-I was waiting for a lady to get off the computer for one whole hour they have four but to be honest I was supposed to sit next to my brother but I was unaware that you can save a computer till a little boy took the spot I was waiting for 2- I have fines that I was unaware of on my account and I asked if I could use my brothers and the lady that had short grey hair and glasses told me I couldn't and I was upset because I was going to do movie night with my brother and now we can't also she did it for someone else neither I could get the books for my crucial homework so now my grade is an F thank you for the grade NOT an acceptation in my family also couldn't you let me slide this experience was very horrible because of this lady that looked like this she shouldn't say any thing disrespectful to me or ask why I wrote this because she should know.
==........The Reference Librarian and her staff are first rate.
This is the BEST of all the local libraries physically probably 1/4 the size of AVON or SIMSBURY but an activity and an intellectual giant by comparison. I have collected a months worth of activity notices and delivered them to the two above referenced libraries urging them to try to bring their programs up to the high level of Prosser. They are still showing "song-and-dance" movies from the 1940's, and other programs at an intellectual level of junior high school. What's to be done?
==2. I publicize it to everyone I know.
I love my library. It isn't big and it isn't fancy, but it is warm and full of great materials and activities. The librarians are the best. They do so much with quite limited resources. I feel welcome, comfortable and connected to my community when I go there. Thank you Prosser Library.
Very nice people and cozy atmosphere. Very kid friendly too.
==3. I encourage the staff with praise and comments.
==1. I joined the library "Friends".
This library serves the community--truly. It has an excellent general collection of popular fiction and while not a research library has a respectable amount of reference materials. You will also find an outstanding collection of African American books, helping better reflect those of us who live in the community. The staff are always helpful and exercise the patience of Job in dealing with the library users. In addition to a fine book collection, it has a huge media selection of DVDs and VCR tapes that rivals movie rental stores.
