I have visited this place a few times only because my mom who has multiple sclerosis likes that they are kind to her. The place is filthy and the woman who owns it (I believe she is the owner but I'm not 100% sure) takes no responsibility in the fact that a few of the machines are not in appropriate working order. I spent $8 on a med washer because there was tons of soap left in the machine and when I brought that to her attention she would not run the machine again stating that I have the good detergent and if I use it I need to put less in. This makes no sense but I said if that's the case there should be a sign. The customer behind me said she told her that her detergent was cheap and that's why her machine had no suds. I don't appreciate being told more than three times it was my fault when the machines there are not in proper working order and then have to pay for their mistake. I will not revisit this place and I'm sure they will take no responsibility for todays service and follow up this review with other good reviews they themselves will write.
The absolute best laundromat i have ever been to. Customer service was exceptional; the manager on-site answered all of my questions and concerns regarding the types of machines they used and what cycle was best to use on my delicates. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone!
Manager wants to make every smile and I'm sure he wants have great conversations with everyone too. Here's my side of the 5/5 rating. I came in June 27th not feeling so well, he came up to me and offered me some water and asked if i wanted to talk, i accepted both. I did not get his name, but we talked for a little bit and i found out that this business is actually a new place with new machines. i enjoy the machines, in less than an hour, i was out the door with the biggest smile on my face! 5/5 is my rating. The laundromat where I'm from, that i used to go to to(New York), they didn't care, but this one did!
I apologize for grammar errors but I have already invested to much time and energy into this place and my mom will love Sunny Suds in Rocky Hill as I do, that's where we will take our business going forward.
Worst experience ever! I do not recommend this laundromat to anyone especially disabled people. The lady that runs the place is very rude and disrespectful. I am a bloomfield resident. This laundromat is 3 minutes from my house. My dryer broke, so until its fixed I have to go to the laundromat and dry.my clothes. This lady got in my face, pointing her finger at me, and told me I cannot use the dryers there unless I wash my clothes there. I told her to get her finger out of my face because I was not disrespecting her. I walk with a cane, I have chronic lower back pain, and I have severe nerve damage that affects my feet. I explained to her that my dryer broke. She did not care. I cried. Its peoples quarters that keep her business open. I was so embarressed. I am 48 years old, obviously disabled.She got in face and pointed at me, talking loudly. The laundromat was very busy. Heads turned to look and listen. I cannot believe I cannot dry my clothes at a laundromat. That's what they are for. I had to go to the laundromat in windsor on windsor have. Thank god they accept anyone using their laundromat whether its to wash or dry or both. This is america. I cannot believe that my money is not accepted at this laundromat in bloomfield .
Not sure where the negative reviews or "horrible manager" comments are coming from.. The guy was super nice he even held my 1-year-old while I got my comforter in the car! I have never used a washateria before but I'm glad this was my first stop!
